Safety edges are edges that can be applied to all the construction elements that delimit a passage (gates, doors, barriers, etc.) to avoid the risk of crushing. When the safety edge detects an obstacle, it sends an impulse that interrupts and reverses the movement of the automation. 

This device ensures a rapid response to impacts over the entire length of the gate leaf, offering a greater degree of safety to your automated system.

Depending on the intended use, you can choose between:

  • MECHANICAL EDGES
  • RESISTIVE EDGES
  • CONDUCTIVE EDGES
  • PASSIVE EDGES (made of rubber, without internal electronics, to be used to cushion impacts)

RESISTANCE IN THE SERVICE OF SAFETY
The particularity of these edges is to be found in their interior. The rubber profile is not empty: there is a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) core inserted which maintains its shape and helps detection of obstacles. 

FAST INSTALLATION
The edges have an adjustable length and are easy to install thanks to the clip system.
