LIVI 902, the automation for overhead doors with counterweight mechanism

In case of overhead doors with a surface larger than 9 m², for a smoother and more precise but above all safer movement, it is necessary to install two LIVI 902 motors: one will be installed with an integrated control unit, the other one in SLAVE version, that is without control unit, acting purely as support for the first one.

The 230V versions of LIVI 902 have an additional plastic container under the external shell that protects the electronic components. In this way the motor is even more protected against water and dust infiltration (IP44).

LIVI 902 is a precise and safe automation for overhead doors with counterweight mechanism because it is equipped with a movement reading system which uses a magnetic or digital encoder. The card controls the movement of the overhead door, detects the presence of obstacles and, when it finds them, reverses the direction of travel. In addition to external safety accessories, such as photocells and safety edges, the encoder makes the overhead door even more reliable.

In case of power failure or technical fault, it is possible to manually unlock the automation mechanism and open the overhead door; this can be done either from the inside using the mechanical lever release device integrated in the LIVI 902 machine body or from the outside thanks to the 960BF device, a release accessory with a special cable.

Thanks to the DEAuser app, you can use your smartphone to open LIVI 902 without needing keys or having to remember access codes. 

In addition, if you have also installed NET-COM with a data SIM card, then you can even check the status of the automation remotely, fine-tune the automatic opening and closing times, and check the access register via remote control.
